Speechcraft Courses
A speechcraft course is an accelerated intensive public speaking and
presentation
course for busy people. It is conducted in a supportive atmosphere and
is based
on participation and practicing of skills which includes Communicating
effectively,
Impromptu speaking and meeting procedures.
A Speechcraft course is designed to teach communication skills to members
of the Toastmasters club, and non members from within the local community.
During the program you will be invited to participate in Table Topics
which is an enjoyable way of learning impromptu speaking, present a minimum
of three prepared speeches, and serve as an evaluator for your fellow Speechcrafters.
You will also have the opportunity to practice secondary assignments such
as proposing a Toast and introducing other speakers to an audience.
Mt Pritchard Toastmasters Club conducts speechcraft course four times
a year. Courses for 2009 start on the 2 February 2009, next one is the
4 May, 2009, 3 August, 2009 and 26 October, 2009.

Next Speechcraft course will commence on Monday the 4 May 2009 for (7)
seven weeks, finishing on the 15 June 2009. The next one after that will
commence on Monday 3 August 2009 for (7) seven weeks, finishing on the
14 September 2009.
